Instruction for Authors

Nova Science Publishers – Author Guidelines

Please strictly follow the formatting instructions below to avoid delays or additional processing fees.

A. General Formatting

  • File Format: MS Word (.docx) preferred. LaTeX allowed with Nova macro.
  • Page Size: US Letter (not A4).
  • Font: Times New Roman, 10.5 pt.
  • Line Spacing: 1.1
  • Language: English (US or UK, but consistent).

B. Chapter Structure

  1. Abstract: 100–400 words summary.
  2. Author Information: Full names, affiliations (Dept., University, City, Country).
  3. Corresponding Author: Mark with (*) and include email.
  4. Keywords: 4–6 noun-based keywords.
  5. Introduction
  6. Main Text: Use hierarchical headings.
  7. Conclusion
  8. References

C. Reference Style

  • Preferred: Chicago Manual Style.
  • Other styles allowed (APA, Vancouver, ACS) but must be consistent.
  • All references must be cited in text.
  • List all authors (no "et al.").
  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt.

D. Figures

  • Number sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2...)
  • Submit separately (.jpeg, .png, .tiff, .pptx, .ai)
  • Minimum resolution: 350 DPI
  • Black & white preferred (color costs extra)
  • Each figure must include a caption below it
  • Copyright: No internet/Wikipedia images allowed without permission

E. Tables

  • Create tables in Word (not images)
  • Number sequentially
  • Caption must appear above the table

F. Plagiarism Policy

ICSTAIS 2026 strictly respects Intellectual Property Rights. Plagiarism refers to the inappropriate use of someone else's content, ideas, or work presented as original. Such violations of ethical standards will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

  • Papers with more than 10% overall similarity will be desk-rejected.
  • Similarity from a single source must not exceed 2%.
  • All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin).
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring originality before submission.

ICSTAIS 2026 Submission Guidelines

Authors must submit papers via Microsoft CMT only. Email submissions are not accepted.

  • Submit original research only (no survey papers).
  • Manuscript must be in English.
  • Maximum length: 5 pages.
  • Include motivation & structure in Introduction.
  • All figures/tables must be numbered and cited.
  • Equations must be numbered.
  • Use 5–8 keywords.
  • Similarity must be below 10% (Turnitin).
